PRP Treatment

PRP contains special cells called Platelets that can possibly stimulate hair follicle growth by stimulating stem cells and other cells in the hair follicle’s microenvironment. These unique Platelet cells enhance healing by speeding up the rate and extent of tissue healing and regeneration, damage response, and the production of new cellular growth. The main goal of PRP in hair restoration is to kickstart inert or freshly implanted hair follicles into active growth mode. Many intracellular structures, such as glycogen, lysosomes, and alpha granules, are found within platelets. The clotting and growth factors found in PRP granules are eventually released during the healing and repair process.

Procedure followed:

  1. 30 – 60 ml of blood is drawn from the patient
  2. The blood is transferred into the centrifuge
  3. The Syringes are filled with Platelet Rich Plasma
  4. Local Anesthesia is given to the patient
  5. The Platelets are injected into the patient’s scalp
